WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Help establish and manage our Client’s Sacramento office.
Work with the Principals to establish and promote the presence of our client in the Sacramento business community.
Manage office financials in collaboration with the financial department at the main office.
Represent our client as the client liaison.
Work with firm leadership to develop strategies for expanding the current client base and to increase our market presence.
Management of projects including coordination, conflict resolution, schedule, and budgets on all Sacramento projects.
Manage a staff of architects and drafters as required to perform the work.
Provide technical oversight on all Sacramento area projects.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
Minimum 15 years’ Architectural Experience with 5 years minimum managing
Type-I Mid-Rise & High-Rise projects and Type-III & Type-V Multi-Family and Mixed-Use projects.Design and production experience, from coordinating conceptual design through contract documents and construction.
Able to complete projects on schedule and on budget.
Advanced knowledge of California Building Codes, construction types, ADA/FHA.
Extensive experience with the building permitting process at Building and Fire Departments in the cities of West Sacramento and Sacramento.
Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
AutoCAD and Revit skills are required.
Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Apps.
Licensed Architect and Accredited Degree in Architecture preferred.
Must we willing to travel to San Diego at least twice per year.
