We are a recruiting agency searching for a Jr. SaaS Software Implementation Consultant for one of our top clients, an International Sourcing Management Software Solutions Company. This is an entry-level Jr. position; best candidates will be a couple of years out of college and once hired will immediately begin training to become a Sr. Implementation Consultant / Project Manager. The below Job Description is what you will be training towards.

This position will partner with the Company’s retail clients’ key business users and IT organizations to design, configure, test and implement value-added business solutions built on the Company’s Software platform. The role will report directly to the VP of the Americas. This is a Hands-On Functional / Technical Project Manager position that, as part of the responsibilities, will conduct Nation-Wide Client, high-level configurations as a superuser.

  • Project management.

  • Review, clarify and document business requirement details with client’s subject matter experts.

  • Work with client to specify detailed workflows on current “as-is” and provide best practice input in the definition of proposed “to-be” process(s).

  • Prepare detailed specifications (including business logics, use cases, data model, integration formats) for configuration and customization.

  • Liaise with and support the CBX Software technical/implementation team on configuration and customization.

  • Work with the company’s International R&D and quality assurance teams to ensure the clients software solution needs are met.

  • Configure the Company’s Cloud application to support the clients’ business processes.

  • Prepare for and conduct conference room pilots for clients, demonstrating the capabilities of the Client’s Cloud suite.

  • Work closely with client and implementation partner team members in the definition and execution of test scripts; support internal QA team and client representatives in test execution.

  • Prepare process, installation, operating procedure and user/trainer training documentation; provide training and support to client of standard package and tailored system; support the delivery of end user and train-the-trainer training sessions.

  • Accurate and timely administration of project progress, documentation, budget and resource utilization reporting.


  • Bachelor’s degree or above.

  • Some business analysis experience in enterprise software implementation, (preferred, not crucial)

  • Enterprise systems implementation. (preferred, not crucial)

  • Based in San Diego CA

  • Willing to travel extensively throughout the US. (eventually)

  • Excellent client facing skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong in writing business system requirements as well as functional specification documents.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Good working knowledge of relational databases and proficient in SQL programming. (preferred, not crucial)
