WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

· Job Captain will develop concepts according to parameters defined by Project Manager or Project Architect

o Produce construction documents including plans, sections and details.

o Assist with quality control for the design function. Integrate and coordinate all disciplines into the building project

o Maintain ongoing communication to understand any project changes, design issues or time/budget constraints that may impact initial assignment

· Job Captain will assure execution of and assist with quality control activities for the architectural elements on a project

o Review drawings, documents and submittals for document compliance and documenting code review and compliance

o Keep project manager/architect informed of progress

· Job Captain will use experience and project knowledge to assist the Project Manager keeping in mind schedules/budgets and provide appropriate communication with team leaders and/or team members who are responsible for workflow/timelines, etc. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION – REQUIRED:

· BA of Architecture

· 3+ years Job Captain Experience

· Revit / AutoCAD skills

· Desire to become Project Architect

· Having, or Being in process of acquiring, a CA Architectural License - Helpful
