WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
· Coordinates project design develops creative-design concepts for projects, and prepares presentation and design drawings.
· Assist Project Architect, Project Manager in developing project documents for bidding and construction.
· Develops planning and creative-design concepts for projects.
· Prepares presentation and design drawings and details.
· Prepares project construction documents.
· Provides planning and design support in the preparation of design development.
· Coordination with engineering consultants
· Agency applications, interface and approvals with the Agencies having jurisdiction (DSA, Local Building Department, Health Department.
· Communicates with and coordinates the preparation of documents with consultants, contractors, team members.
· Reviewing shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance.
· Documenting code review and compliance.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION – REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
· K-12 experience, including working with State Agencies, is required
· Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
· Familiarity with the California Building Code. DSA
· Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage priorities.
· Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision
