WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the project accounting team and has overall responsibility of all aspects of the revenue billing and all issues related to the financial performance within the project life cycle from project set up through project close out.

 

  • Report to Partner(s) any applicable issues or concerns

  • Manager Project Accounting Team, currently at 8 members

  • Prepare weekly & monthly project lists, AR, revenue, project labor & profitability reports for leadership and project staff and any other project reporting and analysis on key project metrics as needed.

  • Manage month-end revenue recognition and work in process reports.

  • Oversee implementation of and adherence to a standard collections process

  • Provide timely response to client & vendor inquiries.

  • Oversee and manage the billing schedule for timely invoicing to clients.

  • Monitor and review all cash receipt transactions

  • Audit monthly project billings to project spend to look for large disparities

  • Oversee the consultant payable process to ensure timely processing for each billing cycle and weekly check runs.

  • Prepare a weekly report on status of incomplete Contracts and PSSA's for Partner review.

  • Perform billing table maintenance and manage rate schedules as needed.

  • Oversee implementation of changes to ERP system

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • 5 or more years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • BA in Finance or Accounting or a related field.

  • Experience with AEC industry and project-based organization - Required

  • MS Office – Excel including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

  • Adobe Acrobat/Bluebeam

  • Experience with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint - Required

 

Employment Type: Permanent / Full Time

Compensation: $130,000 - $150,000 DOE
