WHAT YOU WILL YOU BE DOING:
· Project Management
· Conducting zoning research
· Developing relationships with City Staff
· Plan review
· Entitlement application - drafting and submittal
· Public outreach related to project entitlements actions
· Narrative and writing skills for Specific Plans, Community Plans and Master Planned Communities
WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR THIS POSITION:
· Ability to work on multiple projects and provide clear communication with management and with clients.
· 2+ years of experience with entitlements, land use, real estate development, or other planning and permitting activities.
· Possess a firm understanding of California Land Use and Zoning Laws, State Housing Laws, CEQA, and the Subdivision Map Act.
· Experience with and an understanding of land use regulations and discretionary review procedures of various jurisdictions throughout the Central Valley and Northern California.
· Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and landscape architects to produce high-quality projects.
· Knowledge of engineering maps and records.
